Ellie Kemper On Ariana Grande: You’re “Not Entitled” To Just Go Lick Donuts (VIDEO)
Ariana Grande is absolutely “not entitled” to just lick donuts and do whatever she wants, said Ellie Kemper on Thursday’s “Today” show. The “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” star, who was a guest host on the NBC morning show, first questioned why Grande was even in Wolfee Donuts in Lake Elsinore, California, considering she claimed her apology for saying “I hate America” was out of frustration over the U.S. having the “highest child obesity rate” in the world. Much like Gossip Cop previously stated, Kemper and the other “Today” show hosts also pointed out how Grande never once apologized for licking the donuts in the store. Watch the video below.
“It’s the core behavior that I feel is enabled once you reach a certain level of success, and you think that you’re entitled to do what you want,” said Kemper, adding, “And let this be a lesson that you are not entitled to do whatever you want.” She continued, “And you can’t just go around licking donuts!” Kemper also expressed that she thinks Grande is a “sweet girl,” but chose her words poorly. “People do stupid things all the time. Hers was just caught on tape,” said Kemper.
