Ellen Pompeo Doesn’t Have 6 Toes on Each Foot

According to the Daily Mail, something strange is afoot with “Grey’s Anatomy” star Ellen Pompeo.
The paper reports that the actress “appears to have a little extra than the regular person when it comes to the toe department — with six toes on either foot.”
Seriously.
The “evidence” the Daily Mail uses?
Photos of Pompeo walking in flip flops … photos that clearly show five toes per foot. The angle of the shot and the flip flop liner’s coloration might give the illusion of a sixth toe — but there isn’t one.
The woman behind “Grey’s Anatomy,” Shonda Rhimes, had a good chuckle about the whole thing.
“Pompeo and I are still laughing,” she tweeted. “She says to tell everyone the rumors are wrong — she has SEVEN toes on each foot!”
The actress might not have extra toes, but the Daily Mail might want to add some extra fact checkers. Or perhaps a new photo editor.
