The three stars are one of 21 recipients who will receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom from President Barack Obama on Tuesday. Additional honorees include Michael Jordan, Bruce Springsteen, Robert Redford, Diana Ross, Lorne Michaels, Bill Gates, Kareem Abdul Jabbar and more. The Presidential Medal of Freedom is the nation’s highest civilian honor, presented to individuals who have made significant contributions to society.

Prior to the ceremony, the talk show host posted a funny video of the group gathered in a room at the White House participating in the mannequin challenge, a viral Internet trend where people remain frozen in action like mannequins while being recorded. Funnily enough, DeGeneres almost missed out on receiving the prestigious award as the comedienne forget to bring her identification to the White House and had trouble gaining access. Earlier on Tuesday, she posted a photo of herself sitting on a bench outside the premises, and added, “They haven’t let me in to the White House yet because I forgot my ID. #NotJoking #PresidentialMedalOfFreedom.” Luckily, the situation was sorted out and DeGeneres was allowed inside around an hour later.
