Ellen DeGeneres’ talk show employees think she’s “no hoot” behind the scenes, reports Star.

According to a supposed “set insider” for the mag, “Ellen is a holy terror to those who work on her show.”

The so-called “source” alleges, “She insists that no one look at her or make eye contact during rehearsals.”

Star’s purported insider goes on to claim that DeGeneres once became “furious” when a staffer “walked into the rehearsal space by mistake.”

The source says, “She made sure the girl got in big trouble,” adding, “The employee was so hurt and humiliated that she quit her job!”

Yikes.

As in yikes, this story is so wrong that we’re actually embarrassed for Star.

Gossip Cop checked in with multiple sources close to “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” and none could think of anything negative to say about working with the host.

One insider tells us, “You’ve never seen a happier, more relaxed workplace. We work hard everyday and laugh through all of it.”

Seriously whenever I see a rag say a celebrity insists on you not making eye contact with them it just makes me laugh. I doubt there’s a celebrity out there that insists that. lol Ellen seems like such a sweet loveable woman I’m sure she’s fabulous to work for.

That bad …quit then ! I highly doubt it . I absolutely admire Ellen & would be so honored to work for her. People are so hateful its scary. I look up to Ellen ,she is one of the best role models for young teens and adults ,simply because she is REAL!

Check your sources again because this is all true. I know people who work and have worked there and they say she is a nightmare. The eye contact thing is true too. That’s always the first thing I hear about her.

I call BULLSHIT on this. Shes a wonderful person and when i look in her eyes even if its through a screen i see caring and love. I do not see hate.

Yeah, this one’s true. She had the same policy on the set of her second sitcom. She also alienated most everyone she worked with on the first sitcom. Most recently, she had some nasty encounters with people backstage at the Grammys. She’s a much better actress than people would guess.

I actually know people that work on her show and yes shes a douche bag to the staff! Thats from a person who works on her show, plus many other celebs for many years.. Just being real, believe it or not..
