Ellen DeGeneres Talk Show Staff To Revolt Against “Mean” Boss?
Ellen DeGeneres’ talk show staff is NOT planning to revolt against their allegedly “mean” boss, despite a completely fabricated tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust this claim. We’re told it’s “not true.”
According to the National Enquirer, the daytime TV host’s bubbly on-camera persona is just an act, and backstage she’s supposedly a “demanding boss” who’s rude to her employees. A so-called “source” tells the magazine, “After hours, staffers get together and talk about ‘Queen Ellen.’ A few have even quit because of her behavior.”
The outlet’s “insider” further claims members of the “Ellen Show” staff are “trying to organize people willing to confront Ellen about her dictatorial ways and appeal to her better nature.” The “source” adds, “Some have even discussed staging a mutiny where everyone walks out.” The tabloid’s seemingly nonexistent insider goes on to allege DeGeneres’ “success and money have really gone to her head,” and she supposedly “explodes at staffers over the tiniest things” and exhibits “erratic behavior.”
But Gossip Cop checked in with an actual “Ellen Show” insider, who exclusively tells us the show has a great backstage environment with happy staff members. We’re assured the magazine’s claims about DeGeneres being the “Queen of Mean” and the employees planning to revolt are simply “not true.”
Unfortunately, we’re not surprised by the publication’s tall tale. Gossip Cop previously corrected the Enquirer for its similarly inaccurate claim about DeGeneres being mean and fake. There was no truth to that report, nor the magazine’s story alleging DeGeneres has a drinking problem. The tabloid’s latest attack on the talk show host is equally baseless.
