Marriage is stated in Bible, by God, and by nature, between man and woman. Marriage is only fulfilled when two people in it reproducing , the whole point of sex and love and marriage and this life is carry on.
Children needs to be protected and have their right to have mother and the father. Neither of them is forgettable, neither of them is replaceable. Every child needs a loving mother and strong father. No child should be living a life without a mother or a father

It was based on studying the world I live in! I am not a Christian, I was born in a muslim family and I come from a country where we always at all times have had religious harmony. I have studied Political Science and I know enough of politics to say that the BIBLE shows as much as the Church leaders want us to see (I am no idiot!!) You just need to see around to know how God’s mind works! the way he create the Universe. I can’t believe I wasted my time reading your comment. The bible is a book of story’s that man made up to try and control peoples behavior. What better way to gain control over the masses but by telling us that there is a fictional person in the sky, who can see and hear everything we do and say, who is just waiting for the opportunity to send us to hell, to burn for eternity.. Am I open to the possibility that God may exist, yes sure I am, but what I am not open to is this idea that this loving being that you claim is good and righteous, would be so cruel and vicious to the people he claims to love. The Bible never says gays shouldn’t marry but it says rape victims can be forced to marry their attacker, and seems to have no trouble with certain kinds of incestuous marriage and bigamy. However, the Bible says that divorce, other than on grounds of adultery, is wrong. But I don’t see anybody trying to say let’s ban divorce (the REAL threat to marriage). I’m a straight guy, been married over 20 yrs and I cannot think of a single good argument against gay marriage. It is not the job of government to enforce theological law. I have evolved arguments because I serched for thme all my life – not because I found them in my drawer, TV, school, University and took them for granted. With abnormal family I don’t mean a husband and wife…I mean them divorced, with different partners, with careers,with thinking all for themselves cause kid “will understand ( I mean such it up, what else can they do)”, I mean drugged parents, I mean single parents who parade a new bf/gf to their children every now and then, so their children lack the attention they need and evolve into inferior/superior personalities and seek the love they think they deserve . Not at all! Please question the course of societies, human beings and human live as whole. But questioning and arguing for your point of view is different from judging.
To say for example “Gays shouldn’t be allowed to be parents since I can prove with … that their children suffer, due the fact of their parents being gay” is very different from saying: “Being gay is unnatural and people should be ashamed if they feel that way. Therefore homosexuals shouldn’t be parents.”

I never implied nobody is entitled to their opinion. Judging somebody and having an opinion is different: With the first you a) think to know it better and b) maybe treat that person as below you and so on (I am getting a little tired, sorry)

You make a good point, but I don’t think we are heading towards a time were everyone needs nobody anymore. Simply because we can’t survive on our on. We need the work and help of others for live. But not only that, I believe everything we are: think, talk, act etc. we are because of and in relation to (good or bad) others. (I leave a lot out here, but if you want we can go into detail).
So the limits we have or define as an individual come from the limits the people around us and the society we are born into tell us are limits. I searched for God. I believed once. But I don’t anymore (not because of something that happened, I think was unfair.) It is not that I don’t see him, so he is not there. I just don’t believe in a creator or a purpose of live or hell or heaven. Still I value live, have morals and actually would love the believe in a God/creator etc. – because it would make things easier, I think. But to me, things aren’t that easy and I don’t believe. Add PSSS: I want to answer this a little different, because I think you know where I am heading with this: What did you reflect on? Where do your thoughts and opinions come from?

Personally I think it is from learning something, reading and talking to others. So you can’t reflect on thin air, you need something to reflect on and this I did. My point is: Your “real reflections” aren’t that new. Read it before, heard it before. Still I take you and your opinion seriously, because it is how we do it ;). If I didn’t, I would stop commenting. (But if you don’t please stop.)

I want to start off by saying that I respect your opinion on saying that you do not agree with gay marriage and that it is fine. At the end of the day there are seven billion plus people on this planet so to say that we would all have the same opinion on everything especially on such a topic as “controversial” as this one is quite absurd even for those who are “uneducated”. I want to continue on by saying I am a happy gay male who at no point has ever felt the need to feel as if I am or was ever a “victim” of the environment that I was faulted with especially at
times when I was at my lowest for being called hateful and derogatory words that were meant to hurt me. I can and will speak on behave of all my gay and lesbian friends that (which I am sure you know by now is 99.99% not a choice) they did not choose to be “different”. No one aspires to be ridiculed as well as being emotionally and physically assaulted. I am not going to say that it is the hardest thing in the world to be gay but it does not make anyone’s life any easier. Having been an individual who in high school and still to this day is being judged on being attracted to the same sex rather than on what type of person I am and how I treat people is an obvious reason as to why I do not judge people right off the bat but as how they communicate with others around
them. Obviously I am not perfect by any means but I do my best at being able to hold my head up high and vocalize that I stand by “The Golden Rule” as much as possible. Not that this rally that important but I am a product of two amazingly loving parents who have been together a few years shy of thirty years. When I told them I was gay they told me that they were not surprised and that they still love me the same. I agree when you say that parents are not happy when they are told their child or children are gay knowing that the world we live in is not always keen on accepting gay youth or those who are gay in general but at the end of the day wish them the best in their future. On my behalf I can say I do have morals and values and aspirations as does any other person who respects themselves gay or straight. I am not out there whoring it up having sex with five people in one week or ever. Orgies is not just a gay
sport but rather played by every sexuality the same way that AIDS was not and is not a gay disease. I believe WHEN not if but when gay marriage is legal here in America that our way of life not just for us gays but for everyone else will be better. Those who do not agree will be faced with the reality that times are changing whether they are ready for it or not and the way of life will change for the better. There will be less hungry dying children around the world because of adoption which in my opinion is beautiful for the reason that gays are still able to have parental instincts even if they are not their flesh and blood. Adding also of course this country’s debt will be less of a staggering amount with the rapid incline of gay marriages which will be equally if not better than heterosexual weddings are. So all those naysayers can one day thank
the gays for our help in making America better. As far as religion goes when people try to make an argument with religion on something they deem is wrong they do not have a strong case at all based on the fact that they cannot come up with a better excuse……..uh I mean reason why we cannot marry. I am not the most religious person but I know right from wrong and do own up to my mistakes and can say I know that gay marriage is not the same as killing or raping someone and those examples of inhumanity should never be legal because no one has the right to play god or objectify someone through countless amounts
of pain. I am very well aware that Adam and Eve came first obviously if it were two men or two women there that day our history would have been different but god wanted there to be two people of the opposite sex to procreate. God did not make gay people to later say they are not welcomed in the “internal resting place”. In no way do I see you as less than me but only wanting to give you a much different perspective on how you seem to view this topic. I hope one day you can realize that others who happen to be gay want to be just as happy as heterosexual individuals are today in their marriages. No gay friend of mine ever wants to take on the same aspect of heterosexual marriage or take anything away from it but to be able to say that they are acknowledged
as being a union. I truly hope you and your family gets the chance to enter the gates of heaven but hopefully before you get there you change a few loosely based opinions on gay individuals who in my biased opinion are some of the funniest people you will ever meet. Respect us enough for there to be a day that everyone is treated like first class citizens. Gay hate is not a good look for anyone gay or straight. Just so if you are wondering I only happen to be twenty one years old with no college education and with no plans on going to college but can say that a college education does not define who you are as a person but rather what you happen to do with your life while you are on this planet. Your opinion is welcomed any form of hatred is not.

I didn’t made it up. Your argument evolves very much around the fact that gays are victims of false morals from the sex revolution, lack of morals/limits and “abnormal” homes. You stated that often. So I concluded that you might miss an aspect here.
I tried to tell you that this argument is not very good, since there have been gays throughout history. As for “disfunctional” families: Gay children come out from “functional” homes too. So, please don’t think that is the reason why people are gay. Just because it does fit into your world view, doesn’t make it true.
With the animal example I tried to prove to you that there is nothing “unnatural” about gay sex. (You mentioned that earlier, somewhere) I didn’t say we are guided by animals, but when you say God created women and men to reproduce, then he created animals as well. Since they are (as you said as well) much more driven by instincts, it would mean that they would not engage in homosexual activities since God didn’t create them to, because it would be “unnatural”. But they do. So, maybe God loves gays and also doesn’t want to change them, since he created them that way? (I still don’t believe in God, but I try to argue with your logic here)

No, I never said your arguments where wrong because of that. It makes you look uneducated and doesn’t help your point. Plus: Stating that somebody is uneducated is not a very good point/argument in a discussion. (Please read again. “The first” is referring to your statement “Get your self [sic!] an education!”)

So now you come with the “leave me alone with my own opinion” argument, you fought so viciously against before? And: “Not trying to convince anybody.”?
I know you have your reasons, I am pretty sure of that! But this whole discussion was about you wanting gays not marry and saying it is wrong to think it is okay, or not?

not every person in the world opposes gay marriage. you do not speak for EVERYONE…speak only for yourself…my arguments reek of TV series? LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOO. in New York City, i see every type of person, black, white, brown, yellow, gay, straight, transsexual, transgender..living in a city where I see everything, it is not a TV cliche..it is REAL LIFE experiences. I have gay friends, i may not like being hit on by a gay person, but I will NOT deny my friends their rights or judge them for the life they choose to live. All they want is to be able to marry without prejudice, without judgment. again, it is people like you who are filled with this ideology that gay couples corrupt innocent children, meanwhile it isn’t the gays who are doing the corruption at all. it’s you and religious people who think you all have the right to tell people how to live their lives meanwhile, you all go against with the book tells you…

Being Gay is okay. people don’t control who they love. It just happens. You can’t stop it and its time to make a change.
