Ellen DeGeneres Tells Bradley Cooper: You “Ruined” Oscar Selfie! (VIDEO)
Ellen DeGeneres and Bradley Cooper reunite for the first time since their infamous Oscar selfie on Monday’s “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” and the host explains how the actor “ruined” it… in a good way. Watch below!
As Gossip Cop reported at the time, DeGeneres hosted the 2014 Academy Awards and went into the audience to take a photo with Meryl Streep. Other celebrities in the crowd, however, got up to join the snapshot. And Cooper’s long arms allowed him to take the star-studded selfie that “broke the internet.”
But according to DeGeneres, it didn’t exactly go as she planned. “You ruined it in the most perfect way,” she tells Cooper, explaining, “The whole joke was that I was trying to break the internet, that Meryl and I would have the most retweets. More people jumped in than I even imagined would, and the whole joke was I gonna get Meryl out to take the picture and she wouldn’t be in it at all.”
DeGeneres goes on to tell Cooper, “And I kept trying to get her out of the picture, and you’re like, ‘No, no, I got it.'” In the end, though, the movie star “took the best picture.” Cooper admits, “I didn’t get the whole thing, obviously.”
Also on Monday’s episode, Cooper gives an impression of Clint Eastwood, and host and guest partner for a hilarious cooking segment. Check out the videos below!
