Ellen DeGeneres: I Don’t Want Kids (VIDEO)

Ellen DeGeneres is NOT planning to start a family with Portia de Rossi.

Gossip Cop busted the most recent round of baby rumors involving the couple, and the daytime host herself set the record straight during a Thursday appearance on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.”

“I heard you and Portia are having a baby,” said Leno. “Is this true?”

DeGeneres joked, “I am here for your sperm.”

She then got serious, saying of the rumor, “That is not true… I’ve said it so many times, ‘We’re not going to have a child.’”

It’s not that DeGeneres has anything against children, of course.

“They’re precious to look at. I love them. I love that we have nieces, and I love them very much… but I don’t want [kids].”

    Hope Portia doesn’t want them either then because she is a fair few years younger then Ellen, be a shame for her to wake up one day and regret Ellen’s decision.

    I can see how she wouldn’t want to add kids to her busy life.
    Her talk show alone must require a ton of energy! Heck, my DVR has a tough job
    just to record it daily! In fact, I had to upgrade to the Hopper DVR, with
    loads of recording space, so I could stop cleaning out my hard drive all the
    time. I know tons of women in my circle of friends and around my office at Dish
    who have the same viewpoints as Ellen on children, and I think that is just fine!
