Elizabeth Olsen And Boyd Holbrook End Their Engagement
Elizabeth Olsen and Boyd Holbrook have reportedly split less than one year after becoming engaged. Us Weekly says it has confirmed that the stars called off their engagement. Gossip Cop is seeking verification.
As Gossip Cop reported, Olsen and Holbrook became engaged last March. They met in 2012 while filming the movie Very Happy Girls, in which their characters are in a love triangle with another teen portrayed by Dakota Fanning. The news of their engagement followed just days after Olsen’s older sister Mary-Kate became engaged to Olivier Sarkozy.
Olsen and Holbrook first sparked speculation of a breakup earlier this month when he attended a Golden Globes party solo, and was allegedly seen flirting with another woman. Olsen was then photographed without her engagement ring this past weekend.
In an interview for the June 2014 issue of Marie Claire UK, Olsen seemed happy to be planning her trip down the aisle. “I’m relaxed about it, but I am excited and planning ideas because it’s fun — it’s just like throwing a party to celebrate life,” she told the magazine.
While there’s no longer a wedding on Olsen’s horizon, her 2015 is set to get very busy, very fast. The highly-anticipated Avengers: Age of Ultron hitting theaters in May, and an international press tour is likely to take place this spring.
