Elise Testone’s “American Idol” luck may be turning around.

The singer, who has spent several weeks in the Bottom Three, received her first standing ovation on Wednesday’s show, after performing Billy Joel’s “Vienna.”

The performance earned raves from the judges, including Randy Jackson, who said Testone finally had “her moment.”

First saw Elise perform at Coastal Carolina University in Conway, SC. Knew she had something special first time I saw her. Her stage presence has improved tremendously since then. Just waiting for her to sing “Me and Bobbie McGee.” That’s when she hooked me.

I heard Elise do Me & Bobbie McGee and if she ever sings it on Idol they’ll write a broadway show so she can star in it. This girl has blues in her blood and that is surely something missing in most of the talented singers out there.
