Chilean miner Edison Pena, who recently amused David Letterman with his impression of Elvis Presley, joined Olivia Newton-John onstage in Santiago last night.

Pena and Newton duetted on “Summer Nights” from “Grease.”

The way it all came about was Newton-John and Pena were guests Sunday night on a local Chilean talk show, and the singer asked the rescued miner if he’d like to sing with her the following evening.

So, how did he do?

Pena and Newton-John received a giant ovation from the 10,000 fans.
