Eden Wood of “Toddlers and Tiaras” Retires at 6 Years Old [VIDEO]

Eden Wood, a six-year-old beauty queen on “Toddlers and Tiaras,” has decided to retire.

The pint-sized pageant veteran won 300 times during her short career on the circuit, and will now turn her attention to endeavors including her music and her memoir.

Seriously.

Wood, who aspires to be a “superstar,” was featured on “Good Morning America.”

“I think she’s following in the footsteps of some pretty big people who have done pageants like Oprah Winfrey,” says Wood’s mom Mickie. “As long as she enjoys what we’re doing and what she’s doing, mama’s gonna keep doing it.”

“If it leads to the Miley Cyrus status or the Selena Gomez or whoever, so be it. If it doesn’t, that’s fine, too. Why not see if we can’t have a Hollywood contract? A reality show? A spot on a Disney program? Why not? It’s the American Dream. It’s almost like her destiny.”

    I haven’t seen one genuine smile on this child’s face this entire video. Not even when she’s winning. You don’t put a six year old in make-up and you don’t put them in clothes that show their midriffs. And why compare at such a young age… why not let her be Eden. And she’s already attacking back anyone that disagrees with her lifestyle she’s made for her child by getting her child to notice negative comments and make her own stabs back. And she thinks that that’s too much but dam she certainly seems ready to throw her into something even more so extreme. Like a Hollywood contract, parents don’t push!!! They guide and protect their kids. And they surely don’t make a child’s destiny before the child’s has even been able to be a child. This kid is going to have a very difficult life and I hope she doesn’t turn into a brat- I know it’s not nice to say, but she seems like she very much can become one with her mom’s bad guidance.

    I would really like to b-slap Mom. Leave this child alone and let her be a little girl. I bet by the time she’s 13 she’s going to have anorexia or some other serious problem.

    Wonder how long before Eden realizes she can’t in fact quite because mom is greedy and she is a commodity. The only problem I have with this little girl is her money hungry mom.
