Eddie Murphy (Again) Victim of Death Hoax

Eddie Murphy is once again the victim of a death hoax.

A rumor that the actor and comedian had died in a snowboarding accident popped up online on Wednesday, just as it has numerous times in the past.

The fake story claimed Murphy had a fatal collision in Zermatt, Switzerland.

It’s 100& false.

Murphy is NOT dead.

He’s alive and well.

There are actual deaths making news on Wednesday, making this latest in a series of widespread hoaxes concerning Murphy and other celebrities particularly unwelcome.

UPDATE: A misinformed rapper reignited this rumor on Twitter on Friday, February 3, leading to HUGE speculation that Murphy had really died.

It’s STILL NOT TRUE.

    I find these death hoaxes to be so disgusting. They aren’t just celebrities, they are real people who.have friends and family that love them. The people, and I use that term loosely, that are creating these lies are horrible. Why don’t they take all the free tine they apparently have and go volunteer at a soup kitchen.
