Ed Sheeran “Photograph” Video: See Singer’s Childhood Photos, Home Movies
Ed Sheeran’s new music video for “Photograph” features childhood photos and home movies of the singer. Watch below!
The four-and-a-half-minute clip starts out by showing Sheeran as a months-old baby, including one shot where he’s butt-naked on his tummy. He grows into a glasses-wearing little boy with a love of art and music, before he takes to performing in recitals and on street corners. It all leads to the Sheeran we know and love today, who, as footage from past and present shows, is very much the same kid he was long before becoming a global name.
“Here it is,” Sheeran wrote on Twitter when he announced the video, amusingly adding, “(p.s its me).” In the song, the British star sings, “We keep this love in a photograph/We made these memories for ourselves/Where our eyes are never closing/Hearts are never broken/And times are forever frozen still.” And with its release coming in the hours before Mother’s Day, it’s hard to think of a better gift for his mom.
Sheeran further revealed that “Photograph” is the “final single” from his most recent album, X, which was released nearly a year ago. As Gossip Cop reported, the singer created memorable videos for the record’s previous singles, too, including a romantic ballroom dance for “Thinking Out Loud,” mind-boggling visuals for “Don’t,” and a puppet version of himself for “Sing.” How does “Photograph” compare?
