Ed Sheeran performed “Shape Of You” for Friday’s “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” Watch below!

Sheeran’s pre-taped performance aired on the same day his new album, Divide, was released. As Gossip Cop has reported, “Shape Of You” is one of the record’s lead singles, along with “Castle On The Hill.” The singer dropped both songs simultaneously in January to kick off promo for his new music.

Since then, “Shape Of You” has hit number one on four different Billboard charts: Hot 100, Mainstream Top 40, Adult Top 40, and Dance/Mix Show Airplay. The song has also topped the charts in a number of other countries and regions, including Sheeran’s native U.K. He’s also performed the infectious track on “SNL” and at the Brit Awards.

Sheeran will next be taking the stage at Sunday’s iHeartRadio Music Awards, and is slated to perform on the “Today” show next week. For the “Tonight Show,” this was actually the British star’s second appearance on the late-night program this week. On Monday’s episode, Fallon debuted a new “Classroom Instruments” edition with Sheeran and “Shape Of You.”

Joined by The Roots, that rendition was obviously quite different than the studio version and Sheeran’s subsequent performance on Friday. Check out both videos below!
