Ed Sheeran “Bloodstream” Billboard Music Awards Video: Watch BBMA Performance!
Ed Sheeran performed “Bloodstream” at Sunday’s 2015 Billboard Music Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Check out the video below!
As is common practice for him, Sheeran performed with his eyes closed for almost the entire song. He used equipment to loop his voice, and played percussion by banging on his guitar for a one-of-a kind performance. The camera panned to show Sheeran’s close friend Swift singing along to the audience as he rocked out on stage.
“Bloodstream” was released last year as part of Sheeran’s X album. The track was one of seven promotional singers that came as a free download when fans pre-ordered the record. Produced by music industry legend Rick Rubin, Sheeran co-wrote the track with his close friend Johnny McDaid, along with Gary Lightbody and Rudimental.
Rudimental also did a remix of the song last December, with that version getting a release as an official single just last month. The accompanying music video features actor Ray Liotta. And it’s not the only song Sheeran has on the charts right now. As Gossip Cop reported, “Photograph,” the fifth and final single from the album, hit radio just last week.
Sheeran is nominated for a number of awards at this year’s BBMA ceremony, including Top Male Artist, Top Billboard 200 Artist, Top Radio Songs Artist, Top Digital Songs Artist, and Top Billboard 200 Album for X. Check out the performance of “Bloodstream” below!
