Why not NC 17? Women of all ages will go see it, not just housewives. The 20 to 30 year old age group loved the books. It will be a movie. I don’t think Universal spent 5 million for the rights not to make a movie.

She is trash and Christian Grey is a vile character I found him to be utterly repulsive, you want a good PNR check out the Immortal After Dark series or better yet Dearly Hunters and Rough Rider series.

Fifty Shades makes Twilight look like a masterpiece. I’m sick of “oh my” “holy crap” “double crap” “stop biting your lip” etc. being repeated 50 million times. And who refers to their genitalia as “my sex”? I rolled my eyes so hard everytime I read that.

well i loved the books and hope she keeps writeing more i read all three and want more books and hope the movie comes out soon i will go see it and so will my daughter she the one who told me to read them she said they were good books the best i have read in a long time if you bought them you like them . so bring on movie and more books

Secondly, have YOU written a best-selling novel and are YOU making a huge amount of money?! Its a best-selling novel for a reason so get over it. IM 60 YRS OLD AND I READ ALL THREE OF THE BOOKS. REALLY ENJOYED THEM AND HOPE SHE WRITES A FORTH ONE. IF U REALLY LOOK AT THE CHARACTERS OF WHAT SHE WROTE IT SHOWS HOW GREY ENDED UP FINALLY TRUSTING SOMEONE THROUGH ALL HE WENT THROUGH HIS LIFE. IF U STARTED LIFE AND A SEXUAL RELATION SHIP AS HE DID U WOULD UNDERSTAND THAT HE REALLY DIDNT HAVE ANYTHING ELSE TO JUDGE IT BY UNTIL HE MET ANASTASIA.AND I FEEL THAT THEY FOUND OUT THAT THEY COULD FIND LOVE WITH EACH OTHER. THOSE OF YOU THAT THOUGHT IT WAS DIRTY, THEN YOUR NOT REALLY READING THE BOOKS.

I freakin read the books six times, it might read as rubish to most of you on here. But it is a guilty pleasure reading and some of you probably wished that you had a sex life like theirs. I do have a man who is in the military and don’t get to see much of, so reading this buys my time til I get to see him again. Yes it is a little far fetched, but what books that are out there aren’t. I was pissed to hear that she was going to write a fourth book just to have it a false comment. If you people don’t like it then burn your books or don’t read them. I hated the Twilight series and the movies weren’t that great. The only thing I enjoyed about them was maybe Robert and Taylor.

By the Way…Christian should be Chace Crawford, I’m convinced with the right direction this guy will amaze us. Ashley Greene or Emilia Clark (Game of Thrones) for Ana – Ana is a classic beauty, who looks good with and without make-up and is not cookie cutter (she has to have eyes to speak volumes (they do) – see Claire Forlani in Meet Joe Black – and she has to have chemistry – sparkle with whomever plays Christian. Real chemistry otherwise, don’t screw this book up with a movie…the screen has to love them together, like the Notebook does Ryan and Rachel…it’s all or nothing!

I wasnt going to read them..but my sister in law said I should..i couldnt put them down..not because the sex it was the story or two people..i wish there was a fourth book makes you want to know what else is possible. Love them.
