Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart will host the 2016 MTV Movie Awards, it was announced on Friday. Check out the video below!

Johnson helped break the news on Twitter, first tweeting that he had a “big crazy announcement comin’.” A short time later it was revealed he and Hart will co-host the upcoming MTV Movie Awards ceremony for the show’s 25th anniversary. But that’s not all.

For the first time, MTV will film promos for the event live. Johnson and Hart will be live streaming on Saturday as they tape teasers, and are calling on fans to send in suggestions. Johnson tweeted, “I’m hosting the @MTV MOVIE AWARDS & YOU’RE WRITING THE PROMOS. RT or reply w/ what U want us to say! Let’s roll.”

He further posted on Instagram, “Holy sh*t EXCLUSIVE: Me and @KevinHart4Real are hosting this year’s @MTV Movie Awards. THEN we had the genius idea that for the FIRST TIME EVER we’re letting YOU write the promos. Leave your best, funniest, most f*cked up ideas in the comments below then watch us chop it up LIVE this Saturday at 2PM. #MTVMovieAwards #KevinSendYourSoulToHeaven #CauseYourAssInMine #IHaveNoIdeaWhatThatEvenMeans #ButIveBeenSayinThatSh*tSincePuberty.”

For his part, Hart went with a more generic tweet and Instagram caption. In a statement from MTV, he says, “I love hosting — it’s my thing. Dwayne and I are the perfect team for the epic 25th anniversary show. It’s going to go down.” Johnson adds, “It’s an honor to be hosting the MTV Movie Awards with a guy who’s not only one of the funniest guys on the planet, but who’s often mistaken as my twin, Kevin Hart. We live for our fans and promise to make this an epic, historic unforgettable night for them.”

And executive producer Casey Patterson says, “Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart define what it means to be modern movie stars. They have a direct and personal relationship with their fans, who love them for it and have made them two of the biggest entertainers in the world. They are bringing the action and comedy to the big 25th anniversary of the MTV Movie Awards, which makes me excited and frankly a little afraid. Double trouble!”

The two were likely chosen because they co-star in the upcoming movie Central Intelligence, which will be released June 17. The 25th annual MTV Movie Awards will be taped outdoors for the first time on April 9 and then air on April 10. Watch the promo for the promos below!
