Dwayne Johnson Stars As Gun-Toting Deer In Live Action Bambi Remake On SNL – WATCH VIDEO!
Dwayne Johnson stars in the title role of Bambi in an “SNL” parody film trailer. Noting how Disney has taken animated films and turned them into live action hits, “Saturday Night Live” did a video short, touting the “biggest remake yet” from the director of Furious 7. In the new shoot-em-up action film, Johnson is a vengeful, gun-blazing Bambi. Along with Vin Diesel as Thumper, Tyrese Gibson as Flower, and Michelle Rodriguez as Faline (the “girl Bambi”), they’re ready to make hunters pay “deerly.” Check out the video below.
Johnson’s Bambi rounds up the other animals in the forest and tells them there’s a hunting club nearby, and “they kill for sport,” adding, “Like it or not, we’re part of the game.” He says they need to gather all their “forest friends” because “we’re going out together… one last ride.”
Johnson and the other gun-toting animals then burst into a hunting lodge and open fire on the hunters. Johnson, with two guns in his hands, leaps across the lodge and says as he shoots, “Deer crossing, motherf*cker!” The trailer then promotes the film’s soundtrack with a song from Ludacris called, “Wham, Bam, Bambi,” before displaying the movie’s tagline, “Get Bucked!”
