Drake Throws Money, Pushes Bouncer And Angrily Storms Into Club — WATCH VIDEO
Drake threw away potentially thousands of dollars before storming into a Washington, D.C. nightclub early Sunday in a bizarre incident that was captured on camera.
Footage shows the rapper angrily rushing toward the entrance of Stadium Club, even though he had reportedly just left the venue. On his way, Drake throws down the thick, brick-size stacks of cash he was holding, and then pushes past the bouncer blocking the doorway.
Screams erupt in the chaos, as someone in Drake’s posse picks up the money, while security follows the star into the nightclub. It’s not clear what happened next. According to TMZ, Drake had been celebrating his 28th birthday (which was actually Friday). The site claims someone in his entourage was punched during the festivities, potentially setting the performer off. The venue is actually part gentleman’s club, so it’s possible the wads of cash were actually all dollar bills.
As Gossip Cop reported, earlier on Saturday Drake officially released three songs that had been obtained by hackers. He said “6 God,” “Heat of the Moment,” and “How Bout Now” were not intended to be an EP nor part of his upcoming album. As Gossip Cop also previously reported, “How Bout Now” originally leaked earlier this month. The song, along with “6 God,” has been trending on Twitter on and off since the release.
