Drake: Meek Mill Is “Dead Already” (VIDEO)
Drake said Meek Mill is “dead already” while performing at the Landmark Music Festival in Washington, D.C. on Saturday. The singer told the audience Mill was “dead” when the crowd began supporting Drake in his feud by chanting, “F*ck Meek Mill.” Watch the video below.
As Gossip Cop previously reported, the war of words between the former friends started in July when Mill accused Drake of not writing his own music. Drake, who denied relying on ghostwriters, shot back in two songs. Drake first released “Charged Up” before dissing Mill again in “Back To Back.” Eventually, Mill released “Wanna Know,” but clearly Drake was the winner by all accounts.
Despite two months passing, the feud has not abated and Mill even threatened a concertgoer in early September, who held up a pro-Drake sign at performance in Brooklyn. Then, on Saturday when Drake was onstage at the Landmark Music Festival, as fans yelled “F*ck Meek Mill,” clearly confident that he’s been the victor, the singer waved off the crowd and said, “Don’t worry. He’s dead already.”
Just last week, Drake broke his silence about the back-and-forth with Mill and expressed in an interview with The Fader that he was surprised nobody in his nemesis’ camp told him, “This was a bad idea, to engage in this.”
So far, Mill has not responded on social media to Drake’s latest diss. Check out the video below of Drake saying Mill’s “dead already, and tell Gossip Cop what you think.
