Drake Birthday Plans For Taylor Swift Made Up
Drake is not planning an “epic” present for Taylor Swift’s birthday, despite yet another seemingly fabricated report. Gossip Cop can bust the story, which wrongly implies there’s a romance brewing between the two stars.
HollywoodLife announces in a headline, “Drake ‘Scrambling Like Crazy’ To Get Taylor Swift Epic 27th Bday Present: His Plans Revealed.” It’s said that while their “rumored romance continues to heat up,” the site has supposedly learned “what Drizzy plans to do to make Tay’s birthday, Dec. 13, super special!” A so-called “source” is quoted as saying, “Drake wants to show Taylor love in the biggest way by buying billboards all over Los Angeles wishing her a very happy birthday.”
“He would love nothing more than to see Taylor’s beautiful face with a special birthday message on a billboard plastered all over,” claims the webloid’s snitch. So, why hasn’t that materialized? The outlet conveniently explains that the rapper won’t actually go that route since he already did such a stunt with Rihanna earlier this year.
The alleged tipster goes on to claim, “Taylor is super special to him and he doesn’t want to upset her or make her feel like she’s second fiddle by doing something that he already did for another female. He even contemplated dressing up as Santa, with the intent that she would sit on his lap while he gives her a present. But, he thought that would be too corny.”
So, in the end, HollywoodLies has no idea what, if anything, Drake plans to do for Swift’s birthday, with its source just saying, “he’s scrambling like crazy to impress Taylor with a birthday present with a wow factor.” And the implication throughout the whole article is that Drake and Swift are more than friends.
But as Gossip Cop has correctly said all along, that’s just not true. In fact, we exclusively confirmed again just today that their relationship is strictly platonic. HollywoodLife just wanted to run some outrageous claims, as it has done in the past. But we’ve previously been told that no reputable people legitimately close to Drake or Swift are talking to the website. That’s clearly still the case.
