Hold up there, RomanticFool. I’ve read through all your nonsensical ramblings on several of these articles about this Trump/Obama drama. I hadn’t said anything because, frankly, I didn’t care. This comment isn’t referring to any of that.
But saying that Europe has been ruined by “the Left” got me interested. I am Scottish. I’ve lived my entire life in the UK and wouldn’t have it otherwise. While we have our problems, as every country does, I am proud of the country I call home.
What ‘Left’ infiltration in the media and education system are you talking about? Political correctness in the media? The fact that other sides of the coin are now presented in the media and in schools? For example teaching understanding and toleration of different religions? Or showing that there is nothing wrong with homosexuality? These are developments over the past couple of decades. Are these “slick and very dangerous” ideas being used to “ruin” the world by “radicals and socialists”? Why is it you feel that simple manners and being nice is such a negative quality? But sections of the American public are laughed at around the world. You’ve got millions of people who believe in Jesus turning water into wine and the immaculate conception, but firmly disbelieving that President Obama is American.
