Donald Trump Walk Of Fame Star Allegedly Vandalized With Swastika
Donald Trump’s Walk of Fame star was allegedly vandalized with a swastika. A photo has surfaced online showing the offensive symbol spray-painted over the presidential candidate’s star on Hollywood Boulevard. The authenticity of the picture has not been confirmed, and Gossip Cop will not be reposting the image.
If legitimate, this would not be the first time Trump’s plaque has been defaced. As Gossip Cop reported, back in September, someone drew a large yellow “X” across the star. The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce said at the time that the graffiti would be removed.
The iconic walkway dates back to 1960, and has been tarnished with trash and vandalism over the years. Honorees are chosen through a nomination process. New stars are regularly being added, with LL Cool J getting one just last week.
Trump received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2007. The plaque, located at 6801 Hollywood Blvd, was given in the television category for his work on “The Apprentice.” Earlier this week, NBC announced the cast for the new season of “Celebrity Apprentice,” which will be the first without the business mogul at the helm. As Gossip Cop has reported, Arnold Schwarzengger is taking over the boss role as Trump runs for office.
