Donald Trump Sues Bill Maher: I’m NOT An Orangutan!

Donald Trump is suing Bill Maher for $5 million, the amount the comedian told Jay Leno he’d pay Trump if the “Celebrity Apprentice” host could prove he wasn’t fathered by an orangutan.

Seriously.

It all started on “The Tonight Show” last month, when Maher, in the midst of a Twitter feud with Trump, joked that he’d give the huge sum to a charity of Trump’s choice if the famed businessman could produce proof that he was not the “spawn” of his mother having sex with an ape (see video below).

Maher’s birth certificate challenge to Trump echoed Trump’s own cash offer to President Obama for similar birth credentials during the most recent campaign season.

But Trump took Maher’s wager at face value — and made his June 14, 1946 birth certificate public, proving that he is not, in fact, half-orangutan.

And on Monday, Trump sued Maher for “breach of contract” in Los Angeles County Superior Court, claiming the HBO host has failed to make good on his “unconditional offer” of the $5 million sum.

According to the documents, Trump “accepted Maher’s offer in writing, and has provided the documentation demanded by Maher, but Maher has failed and refused to perform his obligation to make payment in accordance with the terms of his offer.”

Trump says five “worthy charities” have been “deprived” of funds due to Maher’s inaction.

This is actually happening.

    Why should we believe Trump–just because he showed his birth certificate–who says it is genuine–maybe he forged it? Sound familiar Mr. Trump–this man who kept saying, even after the President showed his birth certificate–that he was still hiding something. Maybe Trump is hiding something too–we need more proof Trump!!! This man is a joke who seems incapable of taking one.

    The orangutans are the victims here. Everyone should write HBO and demand they pressure Mr. Maher to apologize. Has anyone stopped to think of the shame and humiliation this has brought upon this noble species. The Horror! Can you imagine the poor orangutans parents trying to explain this to their little ones. Write those letters NOW! This can not stand!

    I have some people in Hawaii investigating Mr Trumps birth certificate and they are uncovering some shocking things. Once I have all the information I will let you know but it’s shocking!

    To play the lawyer here… a birth certificate is not proof. It is simply a piece of paper that other people have signed, claiming a fact. And as we all know, a mere piece of paper is *very* easy to forge. For Trump to “win” this, he’d have to undergo a DNA test, or have eyewitnesses who can attest that his father is a human.
