Donald Trump Sings About Weight Loss On “Tonight Show” With Jimmy Fallon (VIDEO)
Donald Trump sang about his weight loss on Friday’s “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon”… kind of. Check out the video below!
During his monologue, Fallon said, “Gosh, Donald Trump, man oh man. Let’s get to Donald Trump. Fantastic! He looks good — lost 15 pounds on the campaign trail. And he said he actually had to tighten his belt one notch tighter. He must be pretty proud of himself, because he made a song. He released a song. It’s called ‘It Moves This Way.'”
And with that, Fallon cut to a heavily edited video of Trump that, with the help of auto-tune, had the presidential candidate singing about his tightened belt and working out. There was even a trumpet break (see photo above). Interestingly, Fallon’s bit aired a short time after Trump’s kids said in a “20/20” interview that their father needs to focus on his health more.
“I wish he would eat healthier and maybe slow down,” Ivanka Trump told Barbara Walters, highlighting her famous father’s love of McDonald’s. The mogul discussed his weight loss recently with People, actually saying, “I have lost weight because my events are so exciting. When I’m done I don’t want to eat.”
“There’s so little time to be eating. I tend to just be able to eat snacks because it’s so busy and there are so many people and so much hoopla everywhere I go,” he told the outlet, even saying that getting “worked up” during his speeches is a form of exercise.” Trump acknowledged, though, that his snack picks usually aren’t health-conscious. “It’s not the healthiest of eating. It’s stuff I wouldn’t necessarily recommend. It’s grabbing anything you can find.”
“The Tonight Show,” of course, has regularly made jokes about Trump’s campaign and the 2016 election. And, as Gossip Cop reported, the Republican candidate even participated in a mirror-image sketch with Fallon in September. Watch the new bit below, and tell us what you think!
