Donald Trump ‘People’s Court’ SNL Video – WATCH!
“SNL” mocked Donald Trump’s immigration ban being denied by the Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco with the President appearing on “The People’s Court.” Trump even called Russian president Vladimir Putin as a character witness. Watch the “Saturday Night Live” below.
As Gossip Cop reported, right after his executive action was blocked by the judges, the president tweeted in capital letters, “SEE YOU IN COURT, THE SECURITY OF OUR NATION IS AT STAKE!” And so “Saturday Night Live” decided to lampoon it with a skit of Trump trying his case before in the “People’s Court” against the federal judges who shot him down. It began with the presiding judge asking Trump if he knew it was a “TV court,” to which he said, “That’s OK. I’m a TV president.”
During his argument, Trump asked the judge to reinstate the ban, as well as award him $725. After that, his witness, a shirtless Vladimir Putin, came into the court and told everyone to “lay off President Trump.” Next, the judged voiced that she she felt his executive order “seemed rushed, and I hear three court cases an hour.” In the end, the “People’s Court” ruled against Trump.
