Don Pardo Dead, Legendary Saturday Night Live Announcer Dies At 96
Don Pardo, the legendary announcer of “Saturday Night Live” is dead, an NBC spokesperson confirms to Gossip Cop.
He passed away at 96 on Monday evening.
Pardo, who retired from NBC a decade ago, still announced the opening of “SNL” through last season.
He also lent his voice to game shows, including “Jeopardy!” and “The Price Is Right.”
On a personal note, Gossip Cop met Pardo on a few occasions, and he was nothing less than lovely every time.
