DMX Arrested for Violating Parole

DMX was arrested yesterday on a felony charge of parole violation.

The rapper, whose real name is Earl Simmons, is being held without bond in Phoenix after he failed to check in with his probation officer. Police took him into custody at his home.

He had been freed after an assault conviction, the most recent in a long history of law-breaking in Arizona’s Maricopa County.

Some reports are claiming that DMX had cocaine on him when arrested.

A probation revocation hearing is scheduled for November 24.

DMX has been arrested in Maricopa County six times.

He performed in Scottsdale last week.
