Busting bad dish!

Site Won’t Leave Elin Nordegren or Children Alone

(GettyImages.com)

Regardless of how you feel about Tiger Woods and his speech yesterday, everyone can agree with him on one point.

His wife and children are blameless, and they should be left alone.

“Whatever my wrongdoings,” Woods pleaded, “For the sake of my family, please leave my wife and kids alone.”

HollywoodLife can’t bring itself to do the decent thing.

Elin Nordegren Makes Her First Public Appearance One Day After Tiger Woods’ Big Speech! (And Still No Ring!)” the site screeches in a headline today.

With an unsurprising lack of self-awareness, HollywoodLife breathlessly reports about a ringless Nordegren being “spotted” outside a mall in Miami, detailing where she and two-year-old daughter Sam ate, and illustrating the story with a photo of Nordegren carrying Sam in the parking lot.

Gossip Cop will not run that photo here.

Because, of course, it’s ridiculously disrespectful.

We hope in the future sites like HollywoodLife will think twice before continuing to buy intrusive photos of people who do not invite scrutiny.

Like Elin… and a toddler.

I totally agree with you but while you’re blasting sites, how about giving radaronline.com a shout out. It’s right there front and center on their site, with pictures. Very low class.

they were debating this on tmz and on very news channels the other day. Now, with regards to elin, and the news and tmz agrees, and I agree, shots of her are fine. Tiger brought her into the story. SO, for him to say, do not take pictures of my wife, too bad. HIS bad behavior is the cause of everything. HE again is using her, staging her in pics, so alot of nerve, ok for him, not photogs. BUT, in regards to the kids, they have no idea what is happening, what a douche their father is, and at 1 and 2 1/2, have nothing to add. Even if they were teenagers, they should not be shot, they are not part of this story and it would be hard even at that age, and actually, probably worse. But at such a young age of a baby and toddler, how can they understand that their father is different and why some moronic photographer(s) has to jump out of a bush and scare them. They no nothing about the story, nothing about the affairs, only that these are their parents. No pictures of the kids unless they are posed.

Yikes… slow day, Gossip Cop? You’re really reaching with this one. And I agree with Sarah Bethune… why single out Hollywood Life when I saw the same photo (attached to far more scrutinizing stories) on TONS of other sites.

You seem to have a personal vendetta against that site. New punching bag?

Also, it’s a good thing you didn’t run that photo. Last time I checked, running photos you didn’t pay for (including screenshots of photos) is ILLEGAL. Ironic, considering you call yourself a cop.

it really is good that you didn’t run that photo because it’s totally disrespectful and Hollywood life should get banned or something! they never give the straight story!

I definately think it’s hard for Elin, and that she doesn’t want to be photographed, and that should be respected. But paparazzi don’t really care much about respecting people’s privacy, irreguardless of the situation a celeb is in/dealing with. All for the sake of entertainment… right???
