“Step Up 3D” director Jon Chu to direct Justin Bieber 3D film

You can all rest easier now.
A little more than a week after Oscar-winning director Davis Guggenheim dropped out of the Justin Bieber movie, the film has a new director.
Whew!
Jon Chu, who most recently directed Step Up 3D, has reportedly been tapped to take over the Bieber flick.
As Gossip Cop noted earlier, the film will feature clips from Bieber’s current tour, including 3D footage from his August 31 concert at New York’s famed Madison Square Garden, though it won’t just be a performance-only movie. The film will also take a look at the young singer’s life.
The 3D Bieber film is slated to premiere on February 11, 2011.
