Diddy’s Rep: He Was Defending Himself During UCLA Football Coach Fight
Diddy was simply was defending himself, says his rep, after the music mogul was arrested for allegedly assaulting a UCLA football coach. As Gossip Cop reported, Diddy was placed under arrest on Monday and charged with three counts of assault with a deadly weapon, one count of battery, and one count of making terrorist threats after allegedly trying to use a kettlebell to strike UCLA football’s strength and conditioning coach Sal Alosi, who was yelling at the mogul’s son, Justin Combs, a defensive back on the team.
A rep for Diddy says, “The various accounts of the event and charges that are being reported are wholly inaccurate.” His spokesperson adds, “What we can say now is that any actions taken by Mr. Combs were solely defensive in nature to protect himself and his son.” Diddy’s rep further feels, “Once the true facts are revealed, the case will be dismissed.”
As Gossip Cop previously noted, following Alosi screaming at Justin Combs during a practice on the field, Diddy allegedly went after the coach at another athletic facility, threatening he was “going to f*ck [Alosi] up.” The coach did not suffer any serious injuries. Diddy’s rep did not explain how the mogul’s actions were “solely defensive.”
