Diddy Reunites Bad Boy Family For BET Awards Performance – WATCH VIDEO
Diddy reunited the Bad Boy family on Sunday for the BET Awards at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. The hip hop mogul and rapper, celebrating 20 years since he formed Bad Boy Records, started things off by performing one of his older songs before bringing out a number of artists, including Lil Kim, 112, Faith Evans, Mario Winans, Harve Pierre, The LOX, Ma$e, Pharrell and French Montana. Chris Brown also ran out onto the stage to do a dance routine.
Diddy and members of his Bad Boy Records performed a slew of hit songs like 112’s “Peaches and Cream,” Faith Evans’ “Love Like This,” and Notorious B.I.G.’s “Mo Money Mo Problems,” featuring Diddy and Ma$e. They even played a short video of the late Biggie Smalls. Based on the audience’s reaction, it’s safe to say Diddy and Bad Boy’s performance was a highlight of the BET Awards. During the epic performance, though, Diddy had a slight mishap when he fell through the stage while rapping, and then later struggled with the teleprompter while presenting Smokey Robinson’s Lifetime Achievement award.
Rumors first surfaced earlier this week that Diddy was reuniting the Bad Boy family when the rapper and several other performers posted photos on Instagram of themselves rehearsing. Diddy also announced during a recent appearance of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” that he was getting ready for a world tour. The BET Awards appearance marked Diddy’s first even since he was arrested earlier this month. Check out the full video of Diddy’s BET Awards performance with the Bad Boy Records family below.
