Surprising Double Elimination on X Factor Leads to Top 4, The End for One Judge

(FOX)

The Top 4 was revealed on Thursday’s “X Factor,” where Demi Lovato became the first mentor to lose all of her contestants this season.

In the first-half of the double elimination, the pop star’s lone remaining contestant CeCe Frey was voted off the competition after receiving the lowest amount of votes.

Lovato was broken up by the surprising news, as she’ll only be able to judge, not coach, for the rest of the season.

Later, Fifth Harmony (Simon Cowell’s team) and, for the second week in a rowDiamond White (Britney Spears’ team) went head-to-head in a sing-off.

The girl group went first, performing Mariah Carey’s “Anytime You Need A Friend,” after which White took on “I Hope You Dance” by Lee Ann Womack.

So, who got the boot?

White was sent home after L.A. Reid, Cowell and Lovato all voted against her.

It proved a rough night for Lovato, who, after the bad news earlier in the episode, had to give the deciding vote.

But Diamond, who was initially eliminated earlier in the season before being brought back by the judges, expressed confidence that she’ll return once again to the “X Factor” stage — after she finishes her first tour!

You said spears voted against diamond instead of Simon

  • SoCalMan

Really? Tate Stevens #1 a good but not extraordinary country voice beat Carley who has one of the best pure voices ever…as the judges say almost so amazing its not human. Leaving the judging to America (mostly young middle America) is criminal.

So glad CeCe is gone I could not stand her voice in that Katie Perry song. I hope carley wins…she has an amazing voice for being so young.

Wow, is all I can say after Demi Lovato lost Cece Frey when
she didn’t get enough votes to remain. I think it’s sad because I really liked
her and I thought she would remain. Crazy things like this are what keep me
tuned in, because it can go either way. I hate working at night which means I don’t
get to watch most of my shows until the next day. The good things I upgraded to
the DISH Hopper DVR, after my coworker at DISH told me about it. I can get my
four major networks recorded with PrimeTime Anytime and it’s all done on one
TV. Now the wife and kids don’t have to be stuck with watching recordings while
my shows record. It’s made everyone happy and a great way to enhance your TV
    experience.

What are you? A DISH rep?…stfu!! Who cares?

  • kaloalo

my theory is that all the little beliebers who hated on carly for singing his song voted for tate to bump her down to #2
man, you read the comments out there and they all complain JUST because she sang his song – which she DIDN’T even choose!
