Bachelorette Desiree Hartsock Marries Chris Siegfried!
“Bachelorette” Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried got married on Sunday, fewer than two years after the couple got engaged on the ninth season of the ABC show. The couple wed in a church before family and friends in Palos Verdes, California, Gossip Cop confirms.
As you’ll recall, in the season finale that aired in August 2013, before Siegfried got down on one knee and popped the question with a Neil Lane ring that had more than 200 tiny diamonds, Hartsock preemptively told the mortgage broker from Seattle, “I love you, I love you so much,” adding, “I want to spend the rest of my life with you.” He, of course, replied, “I want to be your first, and I want to be your last. Will you marry me?” “Yes,” Hartsock said through tears, “A thousand times yes.”
And while so many of the relationships on “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” don’t last, Hartsock was right when she spoke to Ryan Seacrest on his morning radio show shortly after the engagement episode aired. “The Bachelorette” star told Seacrest, “Chris and I are going to last, and I know we’re going to get married and have a future.” She noted at the time, “I feel our relationship started very naturally, and to be honest, we are each other’s best friends. I truly believe, regardless of the show, or if we met at a coffee shop, we’d still be together.”
Well, now Siegfried and Hartsock are husband and wife, and Gossip Cop wishes them the best. What do you think about Hartsock tying the knot?
