Derek Hough Likes Women, But Shannon Elizabeth As a Friend

It’s a shame Derek Hough spends as much of his time hounded by rumors as he does foxtrotting.
The Dancing with the Stars pro, partnered with Joanna Krupa in the show’s new season, has been followed by a pair of rumors that just won’t disappear.
First are Perez Hilton‘s claims that Hough is gay. Or, to quote “Scoop” accurately, “Derek Hough looks like he’s about to start skipping! Hold onto your skirt there, hun! … Is it dark in that closet of yours, Derek?” But despite Hilton’s protestations, a source close to Hough confirmed to Gossip Cop, “He’s not gay.”
OK, so how about the whispers that Hough is back together with former dance partner (and ex-girlfriend) Shannon Elizabeth? According to Radar‘s “source,” the two recently had a romantic night out in Hollywood, “making out and dancing together” at a club. Despite the alleged PDA session, Hough’s rep tells Gossip Cop the two are “just still good friends.”
