Rumor Wrong About Derek Hough & Cheryl Cole engaged

“Derek’s Got Right Cure For Cheryl,” reads a headline in the National Enquirer, which goes on to allege that Derek Hough has proposed to gal pal Cheryl Cole.
The singer and Britain’s “The X-Factor” judge, who was stricken with malaria earlier this month, was in dire condition at a London hospital when Hough allegedly popped the question.
The tab’s so-called insider claims, Cole “was too sick to talk, but nodded her head ‘yes.’”
Really?
Not quite.
While it’s true Hough is concerned for Cole’s well-being, her recent illness has not inspired them to tie the knot.
A source close to the “Dancing With The Stars” pro tells Gossip Cop that the Enquirer‘s report is “not true.”
Talk about a misstep!
