Denise Richards NOT Joining “Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills” Cast, Despite Report
Denise Richards is not joining the cast of the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” despite a new report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct the claim, which was made in one of the tabloids. We’re told it’s simply not true.
According to an ill-informed “source” for OK!, “Denise is set to step in for Brandi Glanville,” who will not be returning as a cast member. The so-called “insider” tells the tabloid, “The contracts haven’t been finalized, but it’s essentially a done deal.” The magazine’s supposed “source” claims that Charlie Sheen’s Father Day rant, in which he called his ex-wife the “worst mom alive,” was about her joining the “Real Housewives” cast. The alleged “source” says, “He’s having a meltdown about what she’ll reveal.”
First off, as Gossip Cop reported at the time, Sheen’s outburst had absolutely nothing to do with Richards supposedly joining the cast of the Bravo show. It was all about the actor being upset that Richards didn’t bring their daughters, Lola and Sam, to Mexico for a holiday getaway with him, Brooke Mueller, and his twin sons Max and Bob.
Additionally, OK! doesn’t exactly have the most stellar record when it comes to stories about the “Real Housewives” franchise. Gossip Cop has repeatedly corrected the tabloid for its inaccurate reports. Regardless, Gossip Cop checked into the latest claim, and a rep for Richards tells us exclusively that it’s “not true” that she’s joining the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”
