Ashton and Demi Break Twitter Silence for Thanksgiving

Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher broke their Twitter silence for the holiday, tweeting for the first time since the day their divorce was announced.

Immediately after the news broke last Thursday, Kutcher had sent out a single message acknowledging the split, but he and Moore, usually active on social media, were quiet in the days that followed.

But on Thursday, Kutcher finally tweeted again, writing, ”I’m thankful for family, friends, you, & time to reach my potential. What are you thankful for? #thanksgiving”

Just hours later, Moore tweeted, “Why do we have only 1 day for giving thanks? Is that why so many people feel unappreciated? Make this 1 of 365 days of Thanksgiving!”

The couple, married for six years, has been the subject of endless rumors (and webloid nonsense) in the period since their break-up was made public.

    Fame, money, looks, celebrity and most importantly the big age gap was the cause of the break up. Too bad marriage is not the same thing in Hollywood as in real life. Demi has gotta break it off…once a cheat always a cheat.

    I liked this couple and had hopes they would be the poster couple for a long term Hollywood marriage.It is sad, but not surprising at all. Despite her maturity, Demi appears amazingly naive… a young virile Hollywood hunk remaining faithful to a 50 year old woman ..the children are not even his.

    My parents were together over 50 years and dad cheated once. If they had your attitude we would have grown up in a broken home.
    I went through the same thing years ago with my wife and today we are a better married couple.
