He also makes hurtful comments to the children of celebs, comments that are thoughtless, and heartless calling them fat, sluts, skanks, the list goes on and on. Who is he, a grown man with NO claim to any of these kids to call anyone anything? His words are why young girls develop eating disorders, low self esteems, and turn to self harm. What he does is no less than emotional abuse and his followers who may now call him nasty names, are in fact the ones who before LAUGHED, and ENCOURAGED this type of behavior. Anyone else remember him calling Adam Sandlers precious baby “fat” when she was but months old? Or how about the fact that he’s always looking for a new way to shred Miley Cyrus, calling her “Slutty Cyrus” that one respectable news picked up on and even they seemed to glorify such hateful hurtful words, he then pretends to be her friend and “LoL” it up, it isn’t funny and it isn’t cute. And sure “teenagers” call her the same thing, teenage girls who are jealous because they aren’t the ones who are dating the Jonas Bros, or having the success she is at her age and where did that name spawn from? I never heard it until Perez started it off, and then he and his readers kept it going, KNOWING they were talking about a child.

Let’s face it, we live in a world where OLDER celebs such as Pamela Lee Anderson have been trying to tell us all for years that the only way to succeed is to alter our bodies and then show it all off. This has been a problem for YEARS, before Demis children, before Britney Spears, before Miley. And as a by product of such teachings from people we are suppose to admire, our young girls are dressing sexier far before they should worry about what “sexy” even means. I don’t blame these celebs, not fully, I blame the paparazzi/ press for insisting ALL men and women should look a certain way, be a certain size in order to be “popular”, and I blame parents who DON’T stand up to their children and explain when something is not age appropriate. I blame parents who want to be their child’s friend, before being the parent. These kids have friends, they don’t need more. They need parents to be the examples with which to live by. Parents to protect their children from being torn apart and turned into people they aren’t by the likes of Perez. For Demi to come out and call for an end to it, I applaud her, she is doing what a MOTHER does. Protecting her young.

I am not a prude, I am not an old fogey, what I am is a woman who worries what the futures of our young men and women will become of when attitudes and behaviors like those Perez exhibit are not only put into blogs for the world to see, but also attract mobs of people who share his same mentality levels and call it funny. This whole mob mentality where it’s “OK” to be cruel to a child, simply for having been born to celeb parents is NOT OK, it shouldn’t be encouraged, and these hate mongers need to stop hiding behind a computer screen pretending to be more than what they are. Time to bring them out into the light, and show their faces and call them out for what they are.

I do feel celebs’ kids should be off-limits, too. Unless the kid is trying to be an actor or something him or herself, just leave ‘em alone!
