Demi Lovato Stone Cold

Demi Lovato premiered her highly-anticipated music video for “Stone Cold” on Tuesday. Watch below.

“Stone Cold” was originally released last October as a promotional single for Lovato’s album, Confident. It will now be the record’s third official single, hitting radio in the weeks to come. The singer previously shared an “in the recording studio” video for the song, but this new version is a full-fledged music video.

Initially set in a winter wasteland, Lovato is seen despondently collapsing into the snow. The video then cuts to the singer in a bathtub while clothed. There, she emotionally begins singing the heart-wrenching song as she breaks down. Back in the snowy setting, Lovato walks through the open landscape, with the video cutting back and forth between the different scenes.

“Stone Cold” has been compared to one of Lovato’s previous ballads, “Skyscraper,” and the video seems thematically similar, too. Lovato has sung the moving track on “SNL,” “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” and at a couple events in recent months. Fans can now look forward to seeing the pop star belt it out on her upcoming tour with Nick Jonas. In the meantime, check out the music video below!
