Demi Lovato‘s “Skyscraper” just came online, and it’s already generating a lot of buzz for the resilient Disney star.

Lovato has said she hopes the deeply personal track strikes a chord with others, writing on her Seventeen blog, “My biggest wish for this song is that it’s able to inspire others and urge them to keep moving forward no matter what the odds.”

The video for “Skyscraper” debuts on Wednesday.

    Demi shows a whole new maturity to her voice control and ability to allow her emotions to shine through in her music. This songs is by far the best thing I have heard from her. Bravo to Demi and the creative team behind this song, it definitely hits you where you live.
