Demi Lovato Settles with Punch Victim Alex Welch

Demi Lovato has settled with Alex Welch, the dancer she allegedly punched.

Welch’s lawyer, Donald Karpel, tells Gossip Cop, “The dispute has been solved amicably and completely.”

The monetary amount of the settlement has not been disclosed.

Gossip Cop confirmed two weeks ago that the parties were working out a financial arrangement.

Lovato entered treatment for “emotional and physical issues” shortly after the altercation with Welch.

Your definition of HUGE is different from mine seeing as how those bruises that Alex got were minor at best. Hell even experts agree than her injuries were equivalent to walking into a door at night and that they were minor and non serious.

Doesnt matter how “extensive” the damages – bottom line – keep your hands to yourself!!! Noone has the right to hit another person unless it is to defend yourself. Otherwise if you take it upon yourself to hit someone, either expect to be hit back, or to be sued.

While I agree that it’s never ok to hit another person, I also think people need to understand that that’s just how most people work. If they get seriously angry enough, someone’s gonna get hurt, be it physically or emotionally. Also, the girl’s bruises were hardly worthy of being sued over. The only reason she wanted to sue is because she knew it would get her her 15 minutes of fame. And it did. If Demi wasn’t famous, Welch wouldn’t have thought twice about suing. I’m pretty confident about that.
