Sites That Followed Demi Lovato to Treatment Need Serious Help

COMMENTARY

Last week Demi Lovato returned to L.A. from a treatment center, where she reportedly received help for “emotional and physical issues she has dealt with for some time.”

The young woman’s issues were serious enough to have her spend three full months in treatment and then continue outpatient counseling.

That’s why Gossip Cop is alarmed by a number of sites which followed and photographed Lovato going to a center for treatment of a specific disorder we will not name.

Lovato is just 18.

She is dealing with real issues.

She does NOT need her problems compounded by opportunistic websites and paparazzi invading her privacy while she’s seeking help.

After all, many treatments are effective because they allow patients to heal in private.

While Lovato is not seeking help for drugs or alcohol, she should be afforded the same chance to receive help anonymously.

Gossip Cop will take the high road and not rat out the sites that crossed the line, but, honestly, they should know – and behave – better.

I agree wholeheartedly. She is a young girl, who clearly has issues that need to be dealt with. I wonder if those people would want everyone broadcasting their problems? I don’t think so. Give the girl some privacy. I pray for her that she can heal even in light of horrible people.

I agree. She’s only 18, even if she wasn’t she still deserves to be taken seriously. Demi was responsible enough to seek help and follow through it. She deserves privacy and people don’t need to start making things worse for her. They forget that she’s still a teenager, just because she happens to be on TV it doesn’t mean that she doesn’t deserve to be left alone. But there are those who really don’t care & are looking to make a quick buck while possibly ruining someone’s life. I’ve been praying for Demi and her family through this tough time and I hope that she can heal properly without any distractions.

Yes, I totally agree with this. Why can’t they leave her alone, and give her some privacy? Bah, I really hate those people who try to ruin her with stupid lies and false accusations. She is a great girl, who faced her own inner demons and won the battle. So, I really wish I or they could do something agains those blogs. I will pray for her.

Good for you for calling them out! Doesn’t anybody have any class anymore? I’m praying for her healing.
