Demi Lovato took a break from her “X Factor” duties on Sunday night to sing the National Anthem at the World Series.

The singer performed before the start of Game 4 at Detroit’s Comerica Park before the Tigers faced off against the San Francisco Giants.

Lovato also performed the “Star Spangled Banner” at last year’s Game 5 in Texas.

    I thought she sucked! Al these little divas that think our national anthem is a showcase for them – it’s not. Sing it proud, and strong, and straight, without all the diva embellishments!

    wow! that was the 2nd worst rendition of our national anthem that i have ever heard! (sorry roseanne). if i had my eyes closed i could have sworn that a tank ran over a whole litter of kittens. what the hell is wrong with that girl? and she’s a recording artist? today’s music and the people who listen to this garbage have no clue.

    She did not take a break from her x factor duties. The shows now are prerecorded. Even if they are into the live shows they only take place 2 times a week. X factor is only a part time gig.

    It is not about anyone doing any better. It is that particular rendition was not very good. It was ok a times. But those extra notes were horrible and hard to take.
