Demi Lovato was forced to stop her concert in Paraguay on Thursday after a concertgoer rushed the stage.

Lovato had just allowed the audience to move closer — warning them to “be safe” — when one overly-enthusiastic fan ran up and gave the singer an awkward, unexpected hug.

As security rushed out on stage, other fans ran up as well, and Lovato quickly hurried off.

The singer later came back onstage and warned the audience to “chill out,” as security tried to calm everyone down.

    Kind of her fault, she should have known there’d be a scramble for fans to want to be the ones invited towards the stage. Should have had security pick specific people and escort them to a roped off areaprior to her mentioning anything. If she’s ill though, she may already know how to do this safely, just didn’t because she was tired or a little loopy from being sick and whatever meds she took.
