Demi Lovato “Confident” Video — Watch Singer Fight Michelle Rodriguez
Demi Lovato’s music video for “Confident” premiered on Friday. Watch below!
The clip begins at a maximum security prison, where it’s revealed Lovato herself is one of the prisoners. Through a secret deal, the singer is offered a pardon in exchange for tracking down another woman, who just so happens to be played by Michelle Rodriguez. The two brawl before Lovato is arrested once again, this time for treason.
She manages to make a death-defying escape, however, leading the pair to throw down a second time. But when they realize they’ve both been tricked by the same crime boss, they decide to team up against him. More crazy stunts ensue, proving Lovato and Rodriguez are both certified bad asses.
The video was directed by Robert Rodriguez, with whom Lovato has recently worked on the El Rey series “From Dusk till Dawn.” The filmmaker also worked with Michelle Rodriguez on Machete and Machete Kills. It’s not surprising, then, that the clip plays like a short film.
“Confident” is the second single from Lovato’s upcoming album, which is also called Confident. The record will be released on October 16. Check out the music video below, and tell us what you think!
