Demi Lovato Gets $1 Million X Factor Payday to Britney Spears’ $15 Million

Demi Lovato will reportedly be making 1/15th of Britney Spears’ “X Factor” salary.

The former Disney star is said to have nabbed a paycheck just north of $1 million to join the show as a season two judge, compared to Spears’ massive $15 million deal.

Of course, Lovato’s payday is still incredibly impressive considering she’s only 18-years-old and hasn’t been in the business that long.

Simon Cowell is confident that the “Skyscraper” singer will draw younger viewers to the show.

    Simon just wants to get in bed with younger women. that’s the only reason he picked Demi, he knows he can take advantage of her. She’s too young to have enough experience to be telling people what they need to do.

Also Simon himself said that even though Demi is 19 years she already has great experience in the music and movie industry. Demi started her career at a young age. Sings really great live (Britney eat your heart out) does not need auto tune and her albums are critical acclaimed and successful.

    GC, Demi is 19 & will be 20 in August.
    $1 milllion is still a lot because she’s young plus she probably didn’t really wait until they offered her more which is what Britney’s team probably did. Besides, take into account that Demi is going on tour this summer.

    Yep, she also just got out of rehab a year ago. Britney is all autotune. I gave X Factor a chance last season, but i will not be watching this time around. Would’ve reather seen Paula and Nicole on there.

    What has got THAT to do with this? Even though she is back from rehab it does not diminution her abilities. She is still just as good as ever. ALL Demi’s albums were critically acclaimed and won prizes. Her new album sold big. Demi sings great on her albums and live. You should know that even Demi is young, she already been in the music business as a little girl around 7 years old. Simon agrees with this.

    Britney does not sing live and use auto tune and her sale dropped.

    Also, Simon is not using anyone nor wants to get any young girls in his bed. But you probably believes any gossip around him or anyone else, right?

    I never said Demi cant sing. She has one of the most powerful voices I have heard. personally, I like her voice a lot, I just think she might be a but young for all this. And Simon has a reputation as a player. Admit it, he really just wanted Britney and Demi so he can try to get in bed with them

    I dont agree with this. Yes, Demi is young and hasn’t been in the business as long. But she’s putting in just as much time on a major network show. I think Simon could scrape up a bit more. Its rather unfair that Britney (she’s doing the same thing as Demi right?) walks away with 15 million! But paychecks aside, I’m more interested in watching this season now!
