Deion Sanders claims his estranged wife Pilar attacked him on Monday, and now the NFL Hall of Famer is pressing charges.

The couple’s divorce has been exceedingly ugly already, and things allegedly became violent this evening.

Sanders took to Twitter with his version of what happened in his Dallas home.

“Pray for me and my kids now! They just witnessed their mother and a friend jump me in my room. She’s going to jail n I’m pressing charges!” wrote the NFL Network analyst.

He continued, “I’m sad my boys witnessed this mess but I warned the police department here that she was gone try n harm me and my boys. This is on my mama!”

“Filling out police reports now! Thank God for this platform to issue the Truth,” tweeted Sanders, along with a photo (below) of himself writing out the report, with his children.

TMZ reports that Sanders told the site his soon-to-be ex had been “kicking, biting, and scratching” him in front of the kids.

and here we are at a point in society where men’s issues aren’t taken seriously. Men who are victims of domestic abuse are laughed at. We have no funding, no special “centers” for men only… nothing. Hell, women can file false rape accusations on any man they desire to send them away to prison and they can divorce and take all your assets. Men need to start speaking up. I feel he is full of shit but………… on the other hand she meaning the wife wht do anybody expec that is going to be peaches going on the house hold when there is a divore going on someone should have left the home meaning he or she there a kids living in the home.
stop putting them in the middle they are hurting that it not fair to them no matter who is at fault

Assault by her is bad enough but she took a friend? And in front of the kids? Not cool. He SHOULD file charges. Man or woman — assault is wrong.

Sad thing is people are laughing about it, like he’s not a real man for calling the police. Domestic violence can get just as bad when a woman is doing the beating, but men don’t say much. I respect him more because he called the police, he has too much to lose had he hit her. That’s probably what she wanted so she could take his money.

Sadly again we have children that are being pulled from both sides & when they become adults who will they really be. What parent puts it on twitter & shows his kids making a statment. Who is the adult here. really who is.. Disgusting to use the kids.

Why can’t she just let it go? It’s over. She wanted to be a star, so go be a star.

Glad someone else agrees. DV is terrible in any situation, and yeah men just don’t report for that reason. I mean, we have women laughing at men’s penis being cut off on national television! If the reverse happened, there’d be an outrage!

Completely agree….no reason to make a bad situation worse. Stupid move.

Completely agree. I was a victim of abuse for years. I thought the same things…”I should just suck it up” etc.. When she ran into my car and threw glasses at me I had enough and left, but not soon enough.

Had she been the victim and tweeted what had happened to her, then people would have been calling for his arrest & her taking half of his money/assets. It’s a terrible double standard society that people don’t think a man can be abused by a woman, when it happens a lot.

His oldest son was talking about it as well, so it wasn’t just him. He wanted to finally prove that he wasn’t the one who was being abusive. She’s been saying this since he filed for divorce, I’m glad he showed her true colors.

Good for you for getting out of that situation, you didn’t deserve to be abused.

Deion, you nor your ex seem to be putting your kids first. The kids should not be subjected to any of this grown folks business. Children are very impressionable, and you guys appear to be tugging one way or another, and the kids are stuck dead center. It’s not fair to them, and one parent is going to come out on top, the one that tugs the less, I know of what I speak.
