Hello, I’d like to take a minute and ask the people who are opposed to Robert Pattinson, if they could possibly tell me why they feel the way that they do. The truth is that, you do not owe me an explanation and are entitled to your opinion, but I’m very curious and would really appreciate it if you could spare a minute to share your thoughts with me as respectfully as you can. I love Robert Pattinson and suspect that I always will. He is a wonderful dichotomy of perfect/imperfect and of intelligence/stupidity. In essence, he is refreshingly “real”, and doesn’t hide behind a pseudo personality designed to make himself look greater than he really is. I don’t understand why poster’s like Nonbert feel the way that they do about him. I would understand if your feelings were derived from a lack of appreciation for his acting abilities, but that doesn’t seem to be the case with many of you. The hatred and apathy runs much deeper than that, and I’m dying to understand the cause.

Are you upset with him because he is rumored to have reconciled with Kristen? To be perfectly honest, I was too at one time. I’ve always been more of a Robert Pattinson fan than a Kristen Stewart fan, but you know what? I really grew to love and appreciate her because it was so obvious that he did. I loved the way he looked at her and was so protective and caring. Slowly but surely, I came to the realization that if Robert Pattinson, whom I loved and adored could feel so strongly about Kristen, then there had to be something special about her. Something I wasn’t allowing myself to see. So I took off the blinder’s, pushed the jealousy aside and took a real look . Let me tell you that I really liked what I saw and came to love and appreciate her almost as much as I did Robert. So believe me, I understand how you might have felt betrayed by her actions because I feel it too. I’m not going to lie and say that she has regained my trust and affection, because she probably never will. However, I can say that I don’t hate her. I don’t want her to hurt or belittled and mocked. I hate what she did, and will never really understand it, but have learned to let it go.

As a fan of Robert’s, it’s perfectly natural for me to have reservations about the reconciliation, not because I hate Kristen, but rather because I’m fearful of her hurting him again. But Robert is the one in the relationship and the one with the most to lose. So, if he is willing to take another chance on her, shouldn’t I be willing to do the same? It is with that realization that I’ve come to support their reconciliation and pray that they can make it work. Rob’s behavior during the past couple of months have actually increased my adoration of him…and endeared him to me even more. How can you not root for a man who loves so deeply? Before you say it…yes, he does love her. He proved it by placing her on top of his priority list. I don’t believe there to be a thing Robert wouldn’t do for Kristen. And never, even in the worst of circumstances, would he be able to humiliate her in any way…I just can’t see him doing it. What man is going to sacrifice his pride on a daily basis, for a woman he doesn’t love? Pride should never be an issue when it comes to love. That type of love is given freely and is unconditional. If they ever find themselves unable to carry on their relationship, it will not be because he didn’t love her enough. Guy’s like Robert, are so, so very rare. Why do you hate him so? What has he done to garner such harsh criticism?
